NIS 2 and DORA: Apply A Human Centric Approach

Published by Proofpoint

The 17th October 2024 deadline for EU Member States to adopt and publish the measures necessary to comply with the European Union’s landmark NIS 2 Directive has now passed. This means that relevant businesses in industries such as energy, transport, water, healthcare, and digital infrastructure that carry out activities within the EU must be ready to comply with the measures in relevant legislation.

However, it doesn’t stop there. On 17th January 2025, the new Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) will also apply for financial organisations and the sector’s third-party IT suppliers.
